Polyurethane adhesive for flexible packaging

Solvent-free products, with their advantages of zero emissions and fast curing, have seen a continuous increase in market share and can be compatible with various substrate combinations such as nylon/polyethylene, polyester/aluminum foil; Water-based products, with their non-toxic and environmentally friendly characteristics, have maintained a high growth rate in production capacity, jointly promoting the green development of the industry. 

 

In the future, as downstream demand upgrades, functional products with high barrier properties, antibacterial features, and degradability will become the focus of research and development. Under the guidance of the "carbon neutrality" goal, the large-scale application of biobased polyurethane adhesives will further reduce the carbon footprint and help the flexible packaging industry achieve high-quality and sustainable development.
